We had an incredible time on our family vacation in July. Our family of "Road Warriors" traveled over 4,200 miles in 16 days.
We traveled through TX, OK, and KA on our way to SD. Our time in SD was wonderful. You could spend a week there and have tons of fun! Badlands National Park was our big surprise. It was breath-taking. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Jewel Cave were meaningful also. There are many more incredible things to do in the Rapid City area.
We then headed directly to Yellowstone National Park. We stayed inside the park at Yellowstone Hotel. Yellowstone is very diverse with amazing sights in every corner of the park. Our highlights were tailing a bison during his morning walk down a park road and celebrating my birthday at Old Faithful!
